Or it may be used for the foIIlowing symptoms: rice-water discharges, -unquenchable thirst, desire for ice water or acids, pressure in the pit of the stomach, cold, dead, blue skin, cold and clammy sweat, icy-coldness of the hands and feet, cramps in the calves, &c. Windpipe. —Spasms of the larynx.-o-Cough with vomiting. Lower Limbs.-~Icy-coldness of the feet. VERBASCIIUM. (See Jahr, p. 142.) VINCA MINOR. (See Symptomen-Codex, vol. ii.. 1011.) VIOLA ODORATA. (See Jahr, p. 143.) Eyes. —~Sensation of dryness and burning in the lids, with sensitiveness to the light, violent Closing of the lids, and irresistible drowsiness. VIOLA TRICOLOR. (See Jahr, p. 144.) ZINCUM. (See Jahr, p. 145.) Skin. —~Dropsy, especially when the patients complain of pains in the region of the kidneys. Fever.-~Scarlet-fever, in cases where the brain is involved. Female Parts. —Menses scanty, with toothache. Lower Extremities. —Varices on the leg. MAGNES ARTIFICIALIS. (See Jahr, p. 146.) MIGNETIS POLUS ARCTICUS. (See Jahr, p. 147.) Teeth. —oPain, ceasing during a walk in the open air, but returning again in the room. —~Sudden fine beating towards the eye, with inflammatory swelling of the gums, burning redness of one cheek, aggravation of the pain after eating and in a close room, diminution of the pain in the open air.
