544 sTANNUM. Head. —~ Typical pains, especially in the left brain, tearing, boring, stitching, worse in the evening, aggravated by motion, making a wrong step, noise, tall, opening the mouth, and when lying down.-ONervous-rheumatic headache, with achingstinging pains, extending to the face and nape, aggravated by contact, motion, and noise. —~Megrim on the left side, a digging-tearing, pressing pain, aggravated by stooping, noise, and the least exercise in the open air. Face.-~Prosopalgia, with anguish about the heart, and great restlessness;- ~Violent prosopalgia, with shining swelling of the affected side; the part does not bear contact, nor can it be moved. Teeth.-~Pains in the teeth, with faceache, pale, bloated face, yellow margins around the eyes, palpitation of the heart, chilliness, and restlessness. SPONGIA TOSTA. (See Jahr, p. 368.) Windpipe.-OBurning in the larynx and trachea.-*Larynx dry and ~rough. Chest. —~Breathing quick, anxious, labored, also with danger of suffocation and rattling in the chest. SQUILLA MARITIMA. (See Jahr, p. 371.) Head. —Beating in the head, when rising. Nose.-~Inflammation of the Schneiderian membrane. Appetite.-Very thirsty, but can only drink little at a time, on account of the dyspncea. Windpipe. —Dry cough, in short paroxysms. STACHYS RECTA. According to Dr. Maly (see Hygea xvii. p. 322) two cases of rheumatism of the face were cured speedily and thoroughly by bathing the parts with a warm infusion of the cut herb. STANNUM. (See Jahr, p. 373.) Sleep.-* Sleeplessness, continually. Gastric Symptoms. —Very weak digestion. Abdomen. -~Stitching in the region of the spleen. Chest. —~Cough caused by lying on the side. —Influenza, when it threatens to change to mucous phthisis.
