ICUITA VIROSA. (See Jahi, pJ 156.) General SymptOIS. —Drawirng pains in the limbs.-'Opisthotonos and embrosthotonos (in the case of a child, caused by abuse of opi.ua). ~The tetanic spasm is preceded. by a sudder beading and s-etchling of the limbs, as with a.jerk-o-~pileptiform spasms, with shriek, paleness or yellowness of the face, and locking of the jaws.-o Spasms, especiaily in females and children. —-Asiatic cholera, when violent tonic spasms f the nauscles of the chest, and distortion of the eyes, alternate wlth vomting, when thele is but little diarrh'ea and Inot frequent, or when the spasms affect principally the organs,of voluntary emotio-n-~Inujauries caused by the peaetratioah of a -spliate or some other foreign body into soft parts. S!eep. —-FaUlig asleep when sitting, with falling forward of the head, during the period of digestion, or while listening to a,sermon or to any thing else uninteresting, is cured by smelling'f a globule of a very high potency.. Head. —Periodical chronic headache, consequent upon a cut-wouand.inflicted by a blow fiom a sharp instrumneit. — ~Headaclhe above the orbits, with weakmess of sight. CIMEX LECTULARIUS. (See Sy/nrptomen-Codex, vol. i, p. 5.24.) This bug is said to-be, a renaedy for soiae kiuds of fever atnd ngule. CINA. (See Jah1, p. 138.) General Symptoms.-~General spasims, the head and trunk being twisted in every direction, with striking, about of the limbs, occasional violent jerks through the whole body, more particularly perceived in the hand and epigastric region, with stamping of the feet, and jerking of the head upwards and backwards.- ~Epileptic convulsioins, especially at night, followed by headache; or in the day-time, with shrieking, lying on the back, and violent motions of the hands and feet. Fever. -~Intermittent fever, especially quotidian,'or tertian, with canine hunger, clean tongue, vomiting and diarrhcea,'~dilated pupils, emaciation. —After the fever: ~headache.~Heat, with delirium, restlessness, tossing about.
