4 7 2 CANNABIS SATIVA. at first bitter, afterwards insipid, with great straining, leaving the teeth dull; shortly after hunger, he had to eat something, and relished it. —Heartburn. Abdomen.-Pinching in the bowels.-Loud emission *of flatulence, in the morning. Stool and Anus.-The evacuations, which had been regular heretofore, become irregular; at times they take place early in the morning, at others in the afternoon or evening, generally with a sort of tenesmus, they are scanty, and generally a feeling of tenesmus remains for some time after.-At times he is seized with a sudden urging to stool, and passes with great force a papescent, rather loose stool, which affords relief. -She imagined she had to pass wind, but passed a thin and yellowish stool along with it. —Stool at times diarrhceic, at others rather hard. -Urging to stool, on waking in the morning; passed only wind after violent bearing down; the pressing on the rectum and bladder continued so that he was scarcely able to walk; after taking a little coffee and smoking a pipe, he passed stool in detached lumps, and felt relieved; shortly after he vomits up the coffee he had taken, which is considerably mixed with mucus. Urinary Organs.-Frequent urging to urinate, with pressing and tenesmus, sometimes there is a little burning; the urine, especially that which is passed early in the morning, is turbid and cloudy.-The orifice of the urethra is somewhat inflamed, painful and feels rather hard. —Itching in the urethra. Male Parts.-Erections, after an embrace early in the morning.-No sexual desire.-No proper erection during an embrace, and scarcely any thrill. -Sexual desire without pleasure, followed by ill-humor, and aversion to an embrace; afterwards an embrace in the evening is followed by a painful erection in the night.-Violent erection in the morning in bed, with a cutting stitching in the orifice of the urethra.-Strangling sensation in the left testicle; the upper part of which and the spermatic cord seem to swell up and to be divided in several small lumps, like soft.beans; this strangling pain is only felt when walking. Chest.-Oppression, with anxiety in the chest, stitches between the scapulie, he has to sit down, after which he feels easier; it is worse after eating.-Rough, scraping, and dry feeling in the chest. —Pneumonia, with delirium and vomiting of green bile. Upper Extremities.-The right hand feels heavy and goes to sleep, it feels easier when moving it.-Itching of the hands and fingers. —Prickings in the tip of the right ring-finger.Sensation of great coldness under the nails.
