16 AMBRA GRISEA. Integuments of the Head.-Pain about the head as if strained. —* The hairsfeel sore when touched, they fall out. Eyes. —Pain as if the eyes were lying too deep.-Pressure on the eyes as if closed too tightly, with difficulty of opening them, early in the morning.-Intolerable itching around the eyes.-Itching of a lid as if a sty would form.-* Ophthalmia with congestion of the vessels of the sclerotica.-*Mistiness and darkness before the eyes. Ears.-Tearing and tension at the ears.-Tingling and itching of the inner ear.-Diminution of hearing in one ear.*Humming and ringing in the ears. —*Singing in the ears. Nose.-Spasm of the right ala nasi. —Dried blood in the nose.-Bleeding of the nose, especially early in the morning. Face.-Redness of the face, with heat in the face.-Jaundiced complexion. —lushes of heat.-Spasmodic trembling and twitching of the facial muscles.-Gnawing-creeping itching in the face, with pimples, also on the forehead and in the whiskers.-Red spot on the cheek. —Spasm of the lower lip.Hot lips.-Compressive or distensive screwing in the jaws. Teeth.-Toothache, especially in decayed teeth, striking, tearing, especially in the open air.-Drawing toothache, at night and in the day-time, aggravated by the contact of warm things.-Bleeding of the teeth.-Swollen, painful gums. Mouth.-Dry mouth, early, on waking, with numb feeling, also of the tongue and lips.-Smarting and biting in the mouth.-Vesicles in the mouth, with burning pain.-Sore bunches under the tongue.-The tongue is coated white or gray-yellow. —Fetor of the mouth. Throat.-Sore throat as if a lump had lodged in the throat, with difficult deglutition. —~Choking in the throat, when swallowing food. —*Soreness and scraping in the throat. -A good deal of grayish mucus in the throat, with gagging and vomiting when hawking.-Hawking of mucus in the morning, early. Appetite and Taste, —Flat or rancid taste. —~Loss of appetite. —Pressure in the throatpit, after eating, as if food had lodged there.-Acridity in the mouth, after drinking milk. Gastric Symptoms. —* Unsuccessful eructations.-*Frequent eructations, *empty, or *sour, or ~tasting of the ingesta.iHeartburn, especially in the evening or during a walk in the open air.-*Nausea and vomiting. Stomiach.-Pressure at the stomach, also crampy.-Burning in the stomach and pit of stomach. Abdomen. —Pains in the liver, with pressure. -Painfulpressure in the upper and lower abdomen.-Heaviness in the abdomen.-Divtention of the abdomen after eating or drinking.
