516 NATRUM MtRIAMCUM, with strong, full pulse. —Acute pain in the abdomen and along the vertebral column, during an inspiration. Extremities. -Itching sensation, resembling formication, in the upper limbs, which are painful as if crushed, the same as the lower limbs. —Lively twitching of the anus. —Slight trembling and unsteadiness of the hand, when writing.-Slight rigidity or heaviness of the extremities, when rising from a chair (in a hour). MOSCHUS. (See Jahr, p. 262.) Fever. —Typhus, when the vital forces are about to become extinct. MURIITIS ACIDUM. (See Jahr, p. 263.) Fever.-0 Typhoid fever, with the character of torpor.~Typhus, when the following symptoms prevail: The patient settles down in bed continually, with the knees bent and the feet almost drawn up to the anus, with hurried, feeble, rattling, irregular breathing, aphthous blisters in the mouth, putridsourish smell from the mouth, miliaria alba over the whole body, especially on the neck and nape of the neck, and threatening paralysis of the lungs. Stool.-Painful protrusion of a hremorrhoidal tumor, of the size of an egg, at every stool, which it is afterwards very difficult to push back. Lower Extremities.- Cold feet. NATRUM CARBONICUM. (See Jahr, p. 266.) Eyes. —~Far-sighted, with inability to read fine print. Appetite and Taste. —After drinking: stitching in the left hypochondrium, with other ailments. Stool.-' Tenesmus of the rectum and bladder.-~Diarrhoea, after eating boiled milk. NATRUM MURIATICUM. (See Jahr, p. 269.) Skiln. —~Neglected chlorosis, when the reproductive powers have almost become extinct, the skin looks dead, shrivelled, dingy. Fever. —Quotidian or tertian intermittent fever, especially with bone-pains, pain in the back, sallow complexion, headache, prostration, bitter mouth, ulceration of the corners of the mouth, loss of appetite, pressure in the pit of the stomach,
