CHIN A. -127 with thirst during the chill and vomiting after the attack. — ~Fever with thirst after the chill, then heat, lastly exhausting sweat; or with *thirst after the cold and hot stage, and during the sweaty stage. —*Fevers commencing with other ailments. — *Pale face and ~colic *during the chill; *delirium during the hot stage. —Rheumatic, gastric, bilious, mucous, putrid, lentescent, hectic, typhoid fevers, with prostration. —*Fevers in the forenoon.-Small (feeble) pulse.-*Liable to sweating during sleep and exercise.-~Exhausting night-sweats. Emotive Sphere.-*Hypochondriac lowness of spirits.— *Anquish.-Solicitous and apprehensive.-Loss of courage.-Feeling of unhappiness, as though one were opposed by every body. —Excessive nervousness, with lowness of spirits and intolerance of noise.-Indocile.-*Indifference and apathy. — One despises every thing; every thing seems flat.Peevish and vexed. —Fear of dogs and other animals, at night. Sentient Sphere.-Ideas and plans crowd upon the mind, with slow development of ideas when thinking.-*Aversion to bodily or mental exertions.-*Dulness of the head, as after nightly watching, or after a cold. —* Vertigo when raising the head, especially in the occiput, as though the head would fall backward. Head,-~Hemicrania with vomiting and nausea? —~feadache from suppressed catarrh.-*Heaviiness of the head, with languor. —~Headache in the forehead, when opening the eyes.-* The brain feels bruised, with pressing boring in the vertex, aggravated by thinking or talking.-*Sore pain in the brain, when walking in the wind.-*Headache especially at night, with sleeplessness, or worse in the open air.-*Jerking tearing in the head, or tearing with pressure.-*fHeadache as though the head'would fly to pieces.-Stitching headache, with violent throbbing in the temple.-*.Rush of blood to the head, with heat and fulness in the head.-*Painful balancing of the brain as though it were striking against the skull, "obliging one to move the head up and down. —*The headache is aggravated by contact, motion ~or by setting the foot on the ground, also by a draught of air or walking in the wind. Integuments of the llead, —*The outer head, even the roots of the hair, are sensitive to contact.-*Headache, ~as if the hair would be pulled out, or *the scalp contracted.Stinging pressure in the frontal eminences. —*Sweat of the hairy scalp, especially when walking in the open air. Eyes, —Pain like pressure fiom without inward at the margin of the orbit.-Smarting with pressure in the eyes.
